Where do I register to vote?
You can register to vote online through PA Voter Services, by mail, in person at your county election office, or at PennDOT and other approved state offices. Pennsylvania voters must register at least 15 days before the next election.
How do I vote by mail?
Request a mail-in ballot from the state, fill it out, and return it so it's received by 8 PM on Election Day.
Where do I vote on Election Day?
Your polling place is based on your registered address. Use the polling-place finder on this page, or look it up through PA Voter Services. Polls are open from 7 AM to 8 PM.
What ID do I need to vote?
If it is your first time voting at your polling place, bring a photo ID or an approved non-photo ID with your name and address. Returning voters generally do not need to show ID unless otherwise noted in the poll book.
